We collaborate with specialist partner organisations working to address pressing humanitarian, environmental, health and educational needs. Always led by our partners’ expertise, we share products, skills, knowledge and funding to strengthen capacity and catalyse lasting change.
Humanitarian organisations
Action Contre la Faim
We have partnered with Action Contre la Faim since 2018, supporting aircraft missions to transport essential supplies in regions hit by humanitarian crises. We also provide satellite imagery to monitor land changes, access to training and targeted funding to support the Connected Against Hunger Challenge for Airbus employees.

Airlink
We have partnered with Airlink since 2024, supporting the transportation of food, medicine and essential goods in regions affected by humanitarian crises. We have committed to providing € 7.5 million in strategically-targeted funding for humanitarian activities over four years.

Aviation Sans Frontières
Beginning in 2008, our partnership with Aviation Sans Frontières has supported the transportation of humanitarian aid via ‘goodwill’ flights. Goodwill flights leverage the free cargo space available when aircraft are delivered to customers. Together with our partner and our customers, we have carried out 42 goodwill flights, ensuring that medical equipment and school supplies reach communities affected by humanitarian crises.
Centre de Crise et de Soutien du Ministère de l’Europe et des Affaires Étrangères
Since 2017, we have worked with the Centre de Crise et de Soutien du Ministère de l’Europe et des Affaires Étrangères, providing airlift for the transportation of humanitarian aid as well as helicopters to support wildfire suppression efforts in Bolivia.

Centre for Tribals and Rural Development Trust
We have worked with the Centre for Tribals and Rural Development Trust since 2018, funding a capacity building programme in the tribal areas of Nilgiris in the southern part of India.

Fondation de l’Académie de Médecine
Since 2022, we have supported the delivery of Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) training with Fondation de l’Académie de Médecine, building capacity and strengthening local healthcare systems.

hulo
Our partnership with hulo, which began in 2023, has supported their joint transportation initiative to deliver humanitarian aid, creating efficiency and cost-saving for humanitarian organisations. We have also provided access to bespoke leadership training and committed to 3-year funding for the next phase of development of Link, a supply chain management system, designed by humanitarian for humanitarians.

International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies
Since 2012, we have supported the coordination of emergency air transport and helicopter capacity for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Society and their national chapters.

Kenya Red Cross Society
Since 2021, we have worked with the Kenya Red Cross Society, providing helicopter and satellite imagery for emergency response assessment and transportation. We also fund the use of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) to train response teams and local communities on disaster management.

World Food Programme-led Logistics Cluster
We have partnered with the World Food Programme-led Logistics Cluster since 2021, supporting aircraft and helicopter missions to transport food, medicine and essential goods for local communities and humanitarian workers in crisis-affected regions.

Environmental organisations
Aviation Sans Frontières International
Since 2023, we have helped ASFI complement the work done by ultralight aircrafts by leveraging high-resolution satellite intelligence for critical conservation efforts, ranging from habitat mapping and wildlife inventory to enhancing climate resilience in protected ecosystems.

BlueMX Mangrove A.C.
Since 2025, we have partnered with BlueMX Mangrove A.C. to provide satellite imagery and funding to support the restoration of mangroves in a biosphere reserve in Mexico. The project also engages young people in conservation activities.

Connected Conservation Foundation
We have collaborated with the Connected Conservation Foundation since 2021, providing access to satellite imagery and funding for the Satellites for Biodiversity Awards, which supports organisations working on biodiversity conservation. We also support the development of the Ecosystem Insights Hub on their website, a platform for sharing knowledge about the use of satellite technologies for positive natural ecosystem impacts.

Cryospheric Society of Nepal
Since 2025, we have worked with the Cryospheric Society of Nepal, providing satellite imagery and funding. We have supported the mapping of landslide-prone areas in Nepal and the use of satellite data to provide insights for warning systems and evacuation planning.

International Union for Conservation of Nature
Since 2021, the Airbus Foundation has supported the International Union for Conservation of Nature in its worldwide efforts to monitor forest restoration by helping validate its Restoration Barometer. This is a global framework designed to help assess and improve the success of forest restoration by reporting the restoration benefits on carbon sequestration, biodiversity impacts and socio-economic benefits. The Airbus Foundation supported the development of a methodology to identify restoration over time with a focus on change evaluation.

We have collaborated with the Solar Impulse Foundation since 2025, launching a call for project that could harness aerospace capabilities for nature based climate resilience. Through our partnership, Solar Impulse Foundation provides specialist coaching to awarded projects.

Since 2025, we have worked with the Spatial Informatics Group - Natural Assets Laboratory to provide AI, satellite imagery and funding to support land governance and sustainable agriculture in Cambodia.

We have partnered with WeForest since 2025, providing satellite imagery and funding to assess the impact of reforestation efforts in Ethiopia through machine learning.

Since 2025, we have provided satellite imagery and funding for the World Mosquito Program to support aerial deployment of mosquitoes carrying a bacterium that blocks the transmission of dengue and Zika virus in Brazil.
